Figured this would be the most relevant forum for a few reasons but let’s see how much interest it garners here.

I’m thinking about what an organized Yosemite group cleanup might look like and if there’s enough interest to try to put it together or if I’ll just go solo.

I’m thinking trash and bathroom cleanup around camp grounds and trails, road debris, etc.

Cleaning supplies like various cleaners for glass, porcelain, stainless steel etc., paper towels, mops, buckets, brooms, trash bags will be supplied by all volunteers, and likely the hauling of retrieved trash will by done by us as well.

Keep political BS off this thread. If I can put this together there will be plenty of time for that in person.

I’m thinking weekend of Jan 26/27 weather permitting. Possibly other dates (I’m flexible and would prefer to leave Friday early to miss traffic and get a base camp set up and get to work Saturday).

Let me know if you’re interested.

Pending some work things, I would be up for it.

You might get more participation if you post this in the 209 and 559 area code sections.

Hey! I have to work a full-ish day Friday and have an 0800 meeting on Monday. So, I'm out for this weekend. If you are going to do it another weekend, let me know. FWIW, I was just in DVNP and only picked up a half bag of litter in the more common spots like Badwater. I didn't check out the bathrooms since I had no gloves.
