Hey guys, to begin off with this thread I have a rudimentary knowledge of electricity wiring and such and I know that some of you guys are geniuses. So I recently bought some Raptor grill lights from eBay and the kit didn't have the add a fuse or ground attached to the wiring harness (refer to pic). I'm not too bummed out by this because it allows me to learn how to do this stuff :). I was wondering how to safely slap an add a fuse connector to the two wire and a ground to the whole harness.

Its safe, just connect an add a fuse to the hot wire and a ground washer to the black and you're good to go. If you don't want to use the add a fuse just splice the hot wire to the DRL or headlight and ground the black.

And how would you connect a ground washer to the black wire? I was thinking of literally electrical taping a ground washer to the black wire... Or is that a stupid move

Correct, the red one is the correct size. I only had a blue one and had to strip the wires pretty long and fold it until it fitted.

No idea how to tell the size of the wires in my picture, but they seem pretty damn small. I'll try out the red one though, thanks man
