My wife & I make several beach runs a year. Sometimes alone, sometimes with kids (grown kids now) and sometimes with grandkids. She already booked a weekend getaway for us in April in Port A.

We need passports! My father in law made the run a few times from padre to Mexico on islands. Maybe a taco run?

If you enter the beach at Padre Island Natl Seashore park, south of Corpus, you ‘only’ have 69 miles of beach before you have to turn around at the Mansfield cut. This cut separates N Padre from S Padre. If you’re on the beach at S Padre, there is another cut that separates S Padre from the beach that leads to Nexico/Matamoros. I’m not familiar with that stretch or if there is a wall/fence at the border.
I did just get my passport though. Countdown to 7 day cruise (2/10/19).

Probably, he made the run in the ‘70’s. Laws have changed and the islands probably have too. I’ll do some research, got the taco shop dialed in though!

I've been a fan for 58 years. The season always ends in disappointment.

    Always.

although, I have to admit, Sean Payton's tears are delicious this year
