Warming the truck in the neighbors
garage overnight. Removed the tonneau cover to heat the bed walls!

The man, The myth , the legend! Tom installing.. if you need some work done , he’s a guy to do it/fix it!





Removing cubby to access wires

Interior panel opened and connected to rear cargo light switch

Mounting the lights, he lined the lights up with the screws holding the Toyota track system in place . Drilled and riveted in place. Tucked wire behind the rail.


Reassemble and boom! Bed lights on the Cargo switch!

Fuel cap holder!

Had this truck for ever and saw the link for gas buddy(gas cap holder).. turns out ours are built in if you have the plastic strap attached to the fuel cap still.

Obviously when this cable breaks
I’ll be jumping on the gas cap holder.

Also the new tonneau support rods arrived today since one of the clips broke! Ordered 2 just for emergency.


** If you have a Tyger soft tri fold tonneau I always carry 5-6 rubber bungee cords . I used it to hold my cover. Stays in place even at 80-90mph on the hwy!

•Lighting upgrade
Installed new Fogs

Just installed some 6k lumen eBay specials from China.
The guy at work ordered 2 sets and they shipped 3. He didn’t need all 3 so I just got em for $10

It’s got the white/blue hue tint.


The headlight and brights are still OEM stock lights and you definitely can see the difference.

• Camping Trip

$25 per night includes electric and each day camping comes with a Marinette county pass for the day
This campground is awesome. Clean showers.(.50 for first 3 minutes and .25 each additional minute) they had a laundry mat, boat launch , public picnic area, and electric on every site. It’s right on the peshigo flowage.
Our first camping trip in 16 years.

Also a waterfall tour in Marinette County with a quick drive to Iron mountain,Michigan for lunch!

Just short of 600 mile trip over the 3 days! Avg 20.8mpg.
Weather was perfect. Rain on the drive up and back but none while camping.
77*-80* during the day and 52*-56*lows overnights. Absolutely perfect tent sleeping temperatures!

Most of the waterfalls were 600-800 yards from the parking areas. Some of them had awesome hiking areas. You were walking on tree roots to get near 12 foot falls and some had steep trail drops. Luckily the water went down a little.
