Carry your kit with you just in case but don't feel the need to advertise your skills. My orange box of doom came in handy a few weeks ago when some clown left his finger between his tailgate and ATV while unloading it.

The pay is exciting. My brother told me he got paid 30+ an hour for a side weekend gig as a stand by on site EMT. I’m sure he is getting compensated quite well.

Many EMT’s earn $13-18/hr. Not amazing.

Edit: But yes, I’m sure @JamboEMT is getting paid well.

Kit is always in the truck, but yea, won't be advertising... getting the certs for another reason anyways but this stuff relates.

Yea, def not good pay in that field.

For you I will discount it.

If the RTT is a rocking, come a knocking as the more the merrier.

I would like to come out. Their website strongly recommends against 2 wheel drives coming and trying to offroad. I just think that no one with balls and a complete disregard for their vehicle has ever shown up.

Would be great to meet you. Just a heads up, they won't let 2wd vehicles in the guided runs.

I bring my truck mostly just because it's the only way to get there to spend an awesome weekend with the yota gang.

@spicytaco123tnt also only has 2 spinny wheels, but 4 more cylinders and he couldn't make it. When the 2wd truck gets stuck no one else has fun until the trail is cleared again.

They told me my truck wouldn't be able to run the full course at Texas Raptor Run because my 2wd wouldn't make it. That was fake news, and I was running the course no problem at the same speed as raptors (that were required to stay in 4x4). This was after 20" of rain in September and 2" of rain the night before the event. That was also before I had a locker. If you hit something fast enough, you will make it through it. It just takes a little testicular fortitude. If they wont let 2wd on the course thats cool, but I'm not paying 160 dollars to park my offroad truck (thats more offroad capable than most 4x4 I see). A locker and 35" tires at 10 psi goes a long way.

You can run the trails with the bros, just not a guided run put on by the event itself.

This is what happens when you substitute lack of give a fuck for 4wd. Makes for great memes, but that's about it. No one thinks you're cool because you abuse your truck to get it to the top. You'll just join me and @ETXTacoma in the hall of shame.
