It'd be nice to have a few days but then my wife would have wanted to come a hit the Outlets in Williamsburg. I need to get back to Blue Ridge and Skyline Drive one of these Fall days. Finally remembered that restaurant from my childhood - Michie "Mickey's" Tavern

I'm going to guess Pierce's BBQ. Been there years ago. Most certainly will shoot you a note when I get back to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Only Falls colors around my area are from green to brown.

It's down to 31F here. Got up to 56 yesterday with 3.26" of rain! Surprisingly no koi required for the basement but the sump pump is getting a workout.

Good Friday the -13° with -28° windchill. Real cold doesn't hit until Tuesday now.

Pretty young braindead snowflake on TV said if your skin turns black from frostbite you should seek medical help. Really? They think people are so stupid that if their skin turns black they don't know enough to see a doctor? Damn either we are going to be buried alive by snow or body parts are freezing and falling off  If it is black you're too late it is dead.

Mn. boat show is this weekend up in the Twin Cities. Inside. 2 weekends is the Ice Social downtown here. Outside. Really don't have a desire to go sit on a seat made out of ice and drink at a bar made of ice. Although some of the ice sculptures are pretty when lit up to be honest.

I know enough to stay away from the boat show. A man's second happiest day is when he buys a boat. His happiest is when he sells that money pit.

We have been kinda slow this week.
So now on a Friday why in the fuck do they slam us with work.
Plus lots of very hard diag with transmissions, engines, check engine lights, and occasionally
A noise. AKA very tedious and time consuming with more than one tech involved..
A brake job coming in very late in the day.. ie not enough time to do it right.
    I just don’t get it..
Can’t teach em. We keep trying.. looking at open spots and sticking them in.
Gonna suck if their is a late day diag by someone and not enough time to fix it and it’s gonna sit their till Monday..
There are about 10 jobs that never should have been put on today..
Plus a good guy went to the hospital for a bad back isssue. So we are short.

On a good note the weekend it mine.
24 hours of Daytona this weekend..

    Be safe people.
I feel you need to be more aware today...
