What's the best electric shaver these days?

I've always been pretty much a blade man and I use to have a small electric I would use for quick touch-ups. But it gave up the ghost and I never replaced it.

And I want to get something new now.

    TIA

    Subbed to read the replies.

I've had a few electrics over the years. Always gifts, I never bought one myself.
Tell you what, I never had one that could give as close a shave as a razor.
And the electrics always gave me a bit of a rash. Plus they're kind of a pain to keep clean.

But hey, I'm interested in some other opinions.

As far as i know there is no electric shaver that can match the quality of a fresh sharp razor. That being said i rarely use anything but an electric.
I consistantly start work between 2-3 am so the extra few minutes it gives me can be precious while hustling out the door.

Yeah, I know that no electric can match a blade. But I'd still like one to, say, carry in my briefcase in case I need a quickie shave at work before a big meeting, etc.

I have been using Philips/Norelco for the last 20 years or so.
I replace the blades every 6 months (sometimes I forget and will go a year before I can start feeling it struggle a little and remember to replace it)
They last a long time. I am on my 2nd one and that's only because I received it as a gift. I am sure the first one would still work fine.
The one I have can be used for wet or dry shave.

The shave is not as close as a regular blade, but close enough for the convenience that it provides.

But I half expect some wise guy to dig up something. :p

    [EDIT] Sorry for the OT.
I got one of those Norelcos in a drawer somewhere.
They're fine. It's just that electrics give me a rash.
