Super late update from December 2017 (Friendsgiving Turkey Fry):

This weekend was a good one. Had a belated friends-giving type event deep in the red rock on the UT-AZ border with @cwhet10 and a few others.

Yesterday before we headed home, a few of us made the trek to White Pocket. That sand is no joke, but well worth the trip.

Fears, Tears, and Beers 2018 in Ely, NV:

Yes, I did ride my bike through a smokey casino last weekend! Fears, Tears, and Beers 2018 was a blast. Came in 9th for my cat out of 13. Beat spot 10 by just over 2 minutes on 3 stages! It was the polka dots for sure. Looking forward to going back next year!

Second photo was on a segment called "the whoops". Its was fun as all hell. Like a 1000 mph 1.5 mile pump track.

    Sundance Super D:

I felt pretty good about my run except for the part where I nailed my bars on a set of narrow trees and took a quick dirt nap. Came in 8th for my cat/age, so lots of room for improvement.

After racing Super D on Saturday, many of us returned on Sunday for the DH race equipped with speakers, air horns, cowbells, and festive costumes. Watched a few good spills in the moon dust, a lot of fast shredders, and drank a few beers. Maybe you can spot me in this picture, keeping a low profile as always.

Give it enough of the go pedal and the back end will swing around. Easy peasy!

LOL, the Guardsman Pass road to Wasatch Crest trail has a bunch of switchbacks, and they were...interesting.

Write up for how to retrofit a pro eagle extension and base plate to my harbor freight jack.

-Basically you just undo the snap ring that holds the pin in to secure the base plate.
-Swap out the HF pad with the pro eagle pad, which can accept the extensions.
-Reuse the HF pin to secure the pad. Its a little undersize so there is some play in the head.
-To take up the slack, go to Lowes and get yourself a 1 inch washer from the loose hardware bins. I found it had the exact thickness needed to make it rock solid. I believe the washer part code is 10643. Should be a 1in ID, 2.5in OD, 3/16 thickness washer
-Sandwich the washer between the pad and the jack assembly. Insert the pin back in. Mine was misaligned just a hair ~1/64 of an inch after the new washer. a love tap with a hammer got it through.
    -Reapply snap ring
    -Celebrate with a beer

Are you using this in lieu of a hi-lift, or just in the garage?

Installed the hilux snorkel kit adapted for the tacoma from Cruiser Outfitters last night. What an ordeal both physically and emotionally.

Definitely get a buddy for this project. Makes a few of the tasks just a little easier. Helps to have him drill your life altering hole in the fender too. I did not have a buddy this go around.
The instructions say install time of 4-6 hours. I laughed. I started at 5pm and was done at 1230am :bananadead:

When you drill all the holes and go to install it, keep in mind it was not meant for this vehicle. It will not cleanly sit on the fender, you will doubt yourself. Then when you bolt it up, it all kind of sucks in and looks good. You def breathe a sigh of relief when its over.

Shoutout to @Nimble9 , @geekhouse23 , and @GARSHA91 for giving some sound advice pre-install and a little extra motivation.

It looks good. However, it looks like you may have wasted some precious beer. Definitely a party foul.
