    Surprisingly little force can cause that damage. Also remember that the Tacoma has two type of frame. The sliders would keep it from hitting the bodywork


    for my repairs (there was a ding in the front quarter panel too from a branch) nearly $10K in repairs (Canadian funds... so $7750 USD)

    The future is now. My insurance is through USAA. They have an option to receive a text message on your phone and to use the link there to go to a website where you can upload VIN, odometer, and photos, and they have an appraisal in under 4 hours.

    I already have a check on the way minus the deductible. I've got an appointment next week to get a full estimate from the local body shop. Wow.
