    hey everyone!
Need some help, I’ve looked for the forums an not finding what to expect with this.
I’m trying to replace the stock jbl head unit as well as the stock sub with after market+amp, but planning on keeping the door speakers. What can I expect? I know I’ll need an adapter for the head unit because of the jbl system, but mainly for the new subs+amp.. am I going to have to wire the door speakers into the new amp? Any help would greatly appreciated!!

You’ll definitely need the PAC piece for retaining features and JBL amp.

If you’re adding a NEW amp and sub (not just swapping out the JBL) you just need to run RCA cables from the new radio to the new amp. Then power and ground. Then just unplug the jbl sub. You’ll have to leave the factory amp there to run the door/dash speakers.
