All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
If your posting lube give us a link ;)
On another note, I have seen someone use something similar on a long thru hike. Similar to Monkey Butt! Stops Friction Son!

Quick tip for finding gear. Download an App called CSmart for Craigslist.
Works on iPhone and Android, it’s free. This enables one to:
    • Post, edit, and browse listings
    • Multiple color theme options
    • Search multiple cities at once
    • Various options to display search results in a grid, album, map, or list
    • Save searches that you look for often and set up notifications for new listings
    • Map search for nearby listings
    • Greys out listings you’ve already looked at

By no means am I suggesting people go out and buy it. Thought the ingenuity and applicability (should it work) was pretty cool

What type of mechanism are you using to hold your pistol in place?

Thanks for sharing, been looking for something like this.
I have some 5.11 multi-purpose Velcro holsters that just weren’t working on the transmission tunnel like I thought they would. This is perfect.

Get two and have a tailor/seamstress put a zipper all the way around if you want to go big.
