What OBD port reader is best to use with the OBD Fusion app? Im curious if the more expensive models are needed that support MS-CAN.

I use Torque Pro (Android) and a cheap 12 dollar adapter from Amazon. It shows everything I need including trans temp.
The one I have needs to unplugged if left for a day or so without driving, but they do make some that has a button or switch you can easily turn off.
Sorry, not OBD fusion specific, but both programs work the same.

Yikes! I was not aware of that. Which one do you have? I've been leaving my VeePeak plugged in, and haven't used the truck for a week . . .

EDIT: I just read the instructions... VeePeak shoould be removed when not in use. Luckily my truck did start up anyway :)

I dont even know if it has a name. It was a cheap one from Amazon that I got when I had my dakota. I needed something quick and cheap to check some things out on it and it worked as I needed it to.
I havent really tested how long I can leave it plugged in, but I do know the lights stay on the adapter even when the truck is off. I also have a dash cam running constant power in park mode, and when I dont use my truck its usually days at a time, so I will just undo it to be safe.
