98 Tacoma cold startup noise, goes away when warm and restart

    It runs fine after the first restart in the morning but it doesn't seem to quiet down unless I do the restart while it's warm.

    If I start the truck when it's warm out it doesn't have any problems.

    Can you describe the noise? Mines been doing this too lately, sounds like a hissing/whining noise...every since I last changed my oil. I think it's the oil filter since I used a different brand last time than usual, Gonna swap it out with OEM

    My bad...I just seen to the video, whining sound is there even tho it's not moving so can't be the spedocable.
