Hey all, I have a 98 4 cyl 2.7l engine I just replaced the cylinder 1 fuel injector.

I followed this tear down https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...intake-manifold-cleaning.328682/#post-8665711

Put everything back together, torqued everything down, double checked all my vacuum hoses, gaskets, etc.

Turned the car on and its running good, for the most part. I took it out for a drive and Im hearing a high pitched whistling/whining sound when the rpms hit between 3k and 3.5k... only in drive and so far as I could hear when it down shifted into 2nd gear when I gave it more gas

I tried it in neutral and didnt hear anything

Any ideas? Could I have missed something

I have a 2014, extended cap with 4 cyl. auto. Yes, I hear a "flute" sound when temps are around freezing or colder during acceleration. Near as I can tell, it is a characteristic to the air induction system. Perhaps a mini-tornado effect. Nothing mechanically wrong, just how it breathes when the incoming air is that dense. I never hear it during the summer months.

My 2019 gives me a high pitch whistle every once in awhile! Glad to see I’m not alone lol. Never a concern for me.
