I realize that. I'm on my 2nd bottle of McKee's 37 Hydro Blue.

It looks like the results are about the same as Hydro Blue or Hydro2. Hydro Blue is $80 per gallon at Autogeek so you can get it for $60 during one of their many 25% off sales (today for example). They sell this 303 for $25 for 32oz.

Really like these sio2 sprays for our work van or for the truck when in a hurry. While these products lack in longevity the ease of use makes them a great go to for refreshing every 2-4 weeks. Best thing is you can spray it on everything, trim, wheels and is great on glass. When fresh it works every bit as good as a glass coating and will hold up good if you keep the wipers off of it.

My point being is that I would expect better results out of the other brands I mentioned. 303 makes ok stuff just nothing spectacular.

I have not been impressed with 303.
The people that are impressed by it typically have little experience with more professional detailing products.

    I wouldn’t touch it.

I’m not a spray sealant person anyways. At least not for my own vehicles. I want something lasting.

McKee's 37 Hydro Blue is lasting for me. I just apply it every month. :D

My Jet Seal lasts a year.

A month is not a sufficient life for a product.

It lasts longer than a month. Most are applying more often due to the ease of application.

I have only used Sonax. Easy to apply but in my opinion it’s expensive (keep on mind I am maintaining 3 vehicles). I probably got 3-4 applications out of a bottle. I used it as a booster over ceramic coating. Beading is excellent.

No way does jet seal last a year. How are you gauging "lasting". Unless you're using something over it to maintain it every couple months.
Only thing out that would last a year would be a ceramic coating.

You can tell when a coating wears off. Its no longer easy to wash and no longer will bead water.

A maintained coating can last 6-12 months.

Most people wash their cars to death stripping all the products off they work so hard to put on.

I agree a maintained coating can last 6-12 months but something like jet seal on its own, without some kind of maintenance spray every few months, won't last a year all by itself with nothing but regular washes

Maint doesnt always mean an additional product. I don’t use them. I just don’t excessively wash my truck all the time wearing the product off so it lasts longer.

What do you do for maintenance?
A good quality car wash soap, I use carpro reset, will not have any negative effects on whatever you LSP is. If you're using a good soap you shouldnt have to worry about removing your sealant. The thing that breaks it down the most is UV light anyway, so just having it outside is breaking down your protection. I maintain mine with addition products. Then strip and start fresh once per year.

CarPro reset is an awesome soap but goddamn it's expensive for a gallon. But it is dilutable well beyond their recommended. Foaming is ridiculous too.

Regarding the spray sealants, sounds like the TurtleWax seal and shine is a pretty solid product when compared to CMX, Hybrid wax etc...

The reset is insanely expensive but a little goes a long way. I dont find it to make much foam or suds at all though, but the slickness is nuts and my truck looks freshly waxed after using it. In my foam cannon I use CG maxisuds2 and that does well for foaming.

Odd, I've found Reset to be one of the foamiest but I've only used CG Honeydew and Megs Hyperwash at least as far as my current PW setup. But I've seen this discussed with other brands of soap foaming or not for one user vs another. Must be differences in the tap water.

Then again I think foam is pretty much worth fuck all outside of knocking off the lightest dust. I've resorted to using the foam cannon as my soap bucket in a two bucket wash so I try to make a dilution that clings just enough.
