I put one in my buddies camp house that he wanted. It works good for when he occasionally goes to his camp. Not sure I'd be a fan of everyday use. We have a gas on demand and that works like a champ.

Ok, wouldn’t March or April be more appropriate to shed the winter pelt?

Don't know if it would be cost effective and relocating it would be a big problem.

What is the difference, on demand?

Good morning folks. It was a good night. The weather turned out great and the weather guesser were wrong again. It was 68 degrees when I went in at 2000 hrs and 62 when I left at 0245. Turned 3 people away for no picture ID...one of those just got a dui Friday night and thought she could use a picture of her ticket as proof of age. She got pissed but she didn't come in. It was a good night.

A lot of lavatories have on demand or point of use water heaters. A tankless is also on demand. They all sit there until a faucet is opened.

About to go out for a summer project. Gotta assemble a basketball goal for the little girl. Need to get it done before fall hits.

Yet another reason to like Wi. in Mn. grocery stores can't even sell liquor.

It was a zoo, and once finally got through checkout they made me park the buggy and drive up. Said it wasn't safe to push a cart to the lot, first time seen or heard that. Stopped to get propane tank exchange and the kid said Really? Yep Really. Crossing the bridge over the Zumbro River truck started to go sideways on me, after enough of them lately didn't think twice eased off gas and steered into it and straightened it up. While I was thinking I had a missile hazard in the back filled with propane aimed at my head. Tied it down but still...

Good news is saw a map yesterday and the Great Lakes are freezing up fast, which should help reduce the amount of moisture for snow where Lake effect is a factor. Supposed to be 42° here next Saturday sure hope they are right.

LOL that was my first thought too. Although the Toller doesn't seem to understand that either and will blow his coat whenever he feels like it. But fills back in fast during the winter.

Only dedicated stores in SC. ABC stores with a big red Dot. ( Alcoholic beverage commission). All store licenses say something like ABC store doing business as (store name).

And in Pa. it is a State Store. But you could drive in and they would load the beer or keg(s) in the back of your truck for you.

There is only place to spot a cow though, and I know people here that will drive to Wi. to get it.

    afternoon all

Same here. Mine went out a couple of years ago... flushed the toilet and it sounded like a freight train. Replaced it 2 days later (when I gathered enough courage to do it) Was actually pretty easy

Don't do it!! I want one, but no gas here. Won't do electric, because when you turn the tap on, your meter will go round and round and round very fast. Was told they use more electricity than a regular water heater.

If I had gas, I'd have gone tankless.

I’ve only worked on our old school washer. With kids it ran all day everyday. Replaced pump and solenoid. Got a new one when it crapped out and kids were gone.

LOL awesome! Lot of propane up here yet, gas doesn't run every where. Although I have it, except to the kitchen stove :pout:18 years ago called a mechanical company to run it to the kitchen and they didn't want to do it. If I could go back in time I would call a different company. Wait I still can... And may. Boiler\furnace hasn't stop running much for the last week. And will not next week. May be headed to another $600 natural gas bill can't imagine what it would be if it was propane

Best chili I ever had was at a Church pot luck here. Only the guy that cooked it and me ate it, everyone else took one bite and didn't touch it. Put beads of sweat on your forehead but didn't burn the taste buds it was perfect. Then again up here most people think salt and pepper are major spices :frusty: It was all shredded beef chili not ground hamburger. That threw a lot of them for a loop too LOL.

In a couple of hours going to cook supper for me and the youngest son. And sear a chuck roast and some prime grade steak on the grill. After late lunch\supper will use that meat to make pot roast, chili, and beef stew. Hopefully take me through the rest of the week.
