Remote entry add on?

Hello everyone I’m new to owning a Toyota Tacoma. I have a 2017 SR. When I bought it never thought remote entry was or would be an option. But Toyota surprised me. Is this something I need to talk to the dealership to install or something I can plug and play and install like the cruise control and intermittent wipers? Thanks everyone!

 

Thanks, I wonder if adding this option my self will void the warranty? The truck only has 3600 miles. It might be worth letting the dealership do it if it does.

 

Just for info on this, my dealership would not do this. I am having a outside firm to install. Do your homework on this as there are too many places that donot do a good job or mess things up.
I am pretty sure it does not void your warranty
I am paying around 200 bucks for just lock and unlock the doors and using my original key, want remote start add another 150.
I need this as my hands do not work, so it is a option I need. Good luck and welcome to TW
