Canadian after-market accessory supplier

Looking for recommendations on a good supplier for Tacoma accessories; basic bolt-on stuff such as running-boards, lights, etc in Canada (so I don't have to do math, or pay those customs idjits for the privilege of having my packages looked through).

 

If you are near the USA border you can usually have items shipped usually free to a shipping depot on the US side and go and pick it up when in. The shipping depot (You usually just have to register with them and they contact you when item arrives there) I use charges $5 per box and I take it through the border myself to avoid Brokerage charges but you might have to pay GST or whatever tax your province charges on the Canadian side. I used this to get my Fold-A-Cover and Step Bars as they where hard to get and very expensive in Canada for an Access Cab. I saved over $500 on the Fold-A-Cover G4 Elite alone even after paying GST at the border. If I would have it shipped direct after paying shipping and Brokerage fees, it would have cost over $1000 more - Hope this helps

 

Unfortunately, I'm on Vancouver Island, so I have to add $200+ for ferry fare and fuel to get down to the border, and I really just plain don't want to deal with those weenies. I like to save a buck, but I'd rather spend a little more if it means a guy in brown short pants just drops something off at my door!

There are other options for getting US product that don't require you to drive to America but you will need to broker your own deals. I find it simple and hassle free (just taxes and duty (if applicable), no different than driving down and returning), haven't had a serious issue yet using these sorts of vendors in the past:

I got my sliders from Cruisin Offroad in Chilliwack. A bit of a trek for you, but I don't know how much there is on the island.

Running boards I'd say the dealership or 4Wheel parts?

Lights, most offroad shops should have these available. I believe NorthShore offroad may be the closest if you're coming across through Horseshoe Bay (the shop is in North Vancouver). They sell Rigid lights and accessories along with other off road stuff.
