I repurposed my AC jump seats. I wanted a strong dog platform but didn't want legs restricting floor space & access.

I started out by gutting the entire 2nd row. Then i stripped the seats down to the frame and used them for the base. Its pretty sturdy and can support my little dogs at the farthest edges away from the frame and can support me if i put my weight over the frames.

I used an old yoga matt to cover it. Its padded, non-absorbent, and easy to clean. Even matched my interior luckily.

Best part is that it can fold up and the seatbelts could still be used in a pinch if i needed to give someone a ride. They may need a few throw pillows for some comfort though.

Hunting last Saturday. Very light, shifting wind. Sadie almost ran past this bird. Tough photo from distance with iPhone.

I tried several times during editing with the phone to zoom, no joy. I was going to try and zoom while taking the picture but was going one handed with shotgun in the other. On the next bird I put shotgun under my armpit so as to use both hands to hold phone and zoom. Naturally, the rooster got spooked and broke. I dropped the phone to try and get a swing on the bird, but took too long and missed a big rooster. Oh well, Sadie found another bird later, so we got our two roosters.
