Anyone know if I can use tundra tie rod ends on my 2005 tacoma, I need more clearance on my fox coilovers with king springs, 6 inch drop lift.
    Thank you in at avance.

Thank you for the response, for some reason I am having interference with my tie rod shafts hitting m coil spring on driver side when I turn sharp or cycling from suspension, I have a 6inch drop down lift from fabtech with BDS/Fox coilovers that I changed the coil springs to King 700lbs, because of winch/bumper.
Can't figure out why there is contact.

I noticed that tundra tie rod ends are curved, so that's why I asked about the compatibility.

After days of asking questions from other sources and Racking my Brain
I noticed there was more thread showing on the driver side tie rod, so I decided to turn it in the driver's side to about 3/4" of thread showing and the passengers side out to roughly the same.
This seemed to cure the issue of the tie-rod contacting the coil spring but now my steering wheel is crooked
So decided to reclock my steering wheel.
The only place you can do this is where the column shaft connects to the intermediate shaft (full splines, no flat spots for the cinch bolts) after doing this, wheel is straight now but found a new issue.
Seems that the "Rag joint" or whatever Toyota calls it and other threads have covered "play and noise" coming from.
This joint is only held together with 2 rivets, one of them had pulled through and torn this "Rag joint" so instead of waiting or paying $200-$300 for a new intermediate shaft, I made/modded my own.
Test drove several times, no binding or noise and way stronger.

I suggest using a locking nut like a nyloc so that your bolts don't come loose and fall apart. That would be a really bad day.

This was the initial assembly, there is lock washers and red loctite and I cut the bolts after final assembly so there is burrs plus ends are mushroomed.
