and how likely is it that the piston(s) will be (re-)usable?

The calipers on my Taco are in dire need of a fix- replacement is not really an option right now but I absolutely _must_ do something with them NOW! Intermittently on or the other 'hangs'- it's a bit disconcerting to begin accelerating when a traffic signal goes green and have the steering wheel suddenly develop a mind of it's own.

I will also need to buy new caliper 'pivot' bolts (is that the right term?-brain fade, eek!).
A very quick look at a couple internet sellers gave me the distinct impression that I'll be probably be paying about as much (or more) for the bolts as for the 'rebuild' kit.

I would welcome any suggestions or thoughts on where to look......or even where NOT to look.

    Thanks peeps.

When it comes to brakes, I'd go with OEM
The caliper rebuild kit I bought (from the dealer) just addressed the internals
of the caliper (o-rings, boots, etc). Wasn't very expensive.

Brake parts for sure your dealer

    Same for the hardware .

Thing is you won`t know what you have till you pop the pistons out.

Some bores can be so bad they won`t clean up .
