    If it doesn't work. Pull out, spin around and try again. They have to be plugged in before you snap the covers on anyway

    I was worried about that too and pulling them out doesn't hurt the connector. It'll be fine.

    I definitely recommend using coated or plastic trim tools for the install as opposed to a metal screwdriver everyone...

    Yeah. Next project is to pull it all down for repair. Guess ill have to sand the marked up area, scuff the rest and hit with some interior trim paint.

    After I fix the tab of course

    thats a bummer:(. The stock plastic tabs are VERY weak. Did the damage occur while removing the OEM lens, or snapping the new map light in?
    Also the plastic is very soft and is prone to marring if you are not careful.

    For tab repair. Use a razor to trim the broken tab flush, then Drive a small screw Into the same spot. Will be a huge improvement over stock and will still allow the map to move freely.
    For touch up paint, closest I have found(and what’s used on the maps) is
    $24 SEM 15873 Sem Color Coat Med. Slate Gray Sem Vinyl Aerosol 15873
