    My thoughts are the bs traction control was doing that auto brake shit when It started to spin trying to transfer traction to the non spinning side I heard that and felt it do it 2 or 3 times then it popped

    I have a video somewhere here, driving through deep snow .About 3 miles of bouncing, reving turning and twisting and cant imagine a single moment I thought my shit would explode. You must've be doing something terrible

    What size tires? You used 4WD in adverse conditions. And Toyota doesn’t warranty it? CV should have snapped. They engineer stuff to break first so it’s easier to replace.

    Now you know to play dumb. I was just driving and it snapped. Prove otherwise.

    Sorry man. That is absolutely horrible.

    Good ol' open diff. All it takes is the free wheel finding the right traction. Never seen this though. Seen ujoints at the wheel and axle, but I'd never expect this unless a locker was involved...

    Conditions might have been normal, but your driving certainly wasn't. Last time I checked, the warranty doesn't cover being irresponsible. This is why 3rd gen owners get so much shit on this forum. Pretty dumb move.

    Maybe the famous loose bolt a few 2 gen guys experience. I've seen a forefront diff explode on here over the yrs. If one of those bolts on that side were loose it would explain this.

    lets agree to disagree. if what he's shared so far has been the truth(which very well is doubtful), theres no reason the front diff should have grenaded like that. they should be able to take more abuse than that, even if he was being slightly irresponsible
