I find it fascinating watching these threads and seeing all the different things that people focus on, each a unique interpretation of the "one thing that would make the truck look so much better." (Not judging, it's just interesting, is all.)

Im not sure if that is an easy thing to do on this vehicle. I'm sure it could be done with clever wiring, but at a small sacrifice of functionality- you could reroute the DRLs to be powered by an independent auxiliary switch, for example.

Alternatively, you could install two off-road spot beams behind the grill and wire that to the aux switch instead. So instead of fixing what shuts off for high beams, add another set of high beams.

Lighting on modern vehicles must comply with Federal Standards, such as no fogs with high beams. Best not to screw with it.

Not to mention the next thread that says "my truck won't work because I jacked with the wiring."

Thanks guys for all the input finally got a day off I was able to read everybody's I like the idea of leaving the stock wiring alone don't mess with a good thing I think I'm going to get a brush guard and hang some lights under the brush guard or maybe behind the front grill like the one guy suggested again thanks for all your input
