Haha, well, I dont want to totally lose my ass on it. But...its only worth what someone will pay for it. It can always sit on my property until I get rid of that but rather just have one less thing to worry about.

Since I have the trailer, I will offer the ability to deliver it which should help bring in more bidders. But... it is the winter. And if the clowns have another govt shutdown, that'll likely hurt the turnout. So I'll wait to see what happens with that.

 

I just recently took a hit on my 4 wheeler because I wanted to be done with it. It's a great 4 wheeler, but I have no where to ride it, no money to fix it back to pristine, and it was taking up a quarter of my garage space. So I sold it to my buddy for half what I was asking for it.

Special lot rent rate is $500/mo plus the lowest rate on one of the tiny homes is another $500. It said something about utilities that made it seem like they aren't included.

I'm not sure about the whole affordable part. I guess maybe more affordable than something but it's still a shed that you could likely end up spending $1300+/mo on...you can get something in golden for that.

 

Greed is good, I didn't look into renting costs.

We should find some land by BV, Salida- get it zoned right and do something like this.

 

Yeah, biggest hurdle is neighbors, nimby folks. And then capital up front.

lol, To suckers willing to pay us $1K plus a month to live in a place that cost $25- 40K total to build...

 

I guess it's a good deal if you've got a paid for tiny home, but beyond that it's not. I like living large so the tiny home stuff doesn't appeal to me. being 6'4" would make any tiny home claustrophobic for me.
It's a smart investment though on the business side. Especially with all the millennials that want to live as 'cheap' and 'eco' as possible to impress their hipster friends.

 

Just include a cause in the HOA/lease that states anyone caught not drinking local craft beers is immediately expelled from the park.

 

oh, Neither of us would live there, We are also tall but this tiny craze is in full force here and most local gov'ts in CO zone them out so it can't be done.

Someone once sent me a story that the avg time people live in these tiny places is under 9 months.

 

I can imagine. It sounds like a good idea in theory, then when you're actually living in one, it becomes a nightmare of annoyances.

 

Exactly, I could see it working better in warm climates where you could spend a bunch of time outside but Snow & Rain would put a big pin in people's Tiny dream.

So, when loading with slide out ramps, it's a good idea to make sure the trailer is somewhat level side to side.

When the rear got halfway up, both ramps did a little slide to the side. Thankfully tires stayed on them.
