My only real complaint is that I am not seeing the gas mileage I was hoping for. Pretty much getting the same mileage as the lifted 1st gen MT that I was driving for a little while before upgrading to a 3rd gen. But, I also have a heavy foot and like to bomb up hills. I should really slow down a bit on the highway too to see better mileage. This is more a complaint about my own driving than anything else :burnrubber:

Also, the rev hang makes downshifting a bit touchy. Besides that, no complaints at all.

I have not found anyone on this forum with a 2.7 crew cab 3rd gen tacoma that deals with this issue at interstate speeds.

If you are having a real issue and can't find your answer here, call Toyota Corporate. It sounds like a lazy answer to give you but I'm serious, they will seriously try and solve your issue.

Right. And is a legit problem. And if someone is telling them they're wrong about a legit issue , then they're an idiot . And if this thread is asking why are there so many idiots...dude...I've got no idea. Haha. There's going to be a few in every crowd.

We all know where these threads go. So I'll check out.

OP I hope you get your answers. Sometimes you got to weed through the jerks. We all do it on here. My advice is to ignore them , keep tough skin, and try to keep a positive inviting tone. Good luck.

    It's not a perfect world.

    Sometimes things do suck.

It's how you deal with it that makes all the difference.

My only complaint about my 3rd gen is that it brought me to this forum. My 1st gen never led me astray like this

That's what I did. They told me there isn't an ECU for the 2.7s, and no way to tell whether or not one is in the works. I did this 3 months ago.
