Toyota is finally putting in power seats. Something that should have been done since 2005.

The savior of power seats is the multiple memory feature. Knowing Toyota, they didn’t go “all in” with the powered seats.... so we’ll see if this applies to the new update. I welcome the new changes, but doesn’t matter to me personally. I have too much money sunk into my truck I couldn’t possibly get back so trading up is out of the question. I hope y’all get what y’all want!

I agree, the memory part is the ticket......and for those of us that won't be trading up regardless, we could always just get the seat haha

I will tell ya all about it if I get one! Come on Voodoo OR!!!!!!!

I could give two craps about a stupid power seat but for those that like them it’s good. More electronics = more room for failures.

Exactly. Without memory, it's harder to get power seats back in the right position than it is for mechanical seats with a limited number of possible positions.

Which begs the question, what new blue will Toyota offer for 2020?

most power seats these days are memory, shit my 04 lexus had memory powered seats there's zero reason for Toyota trucks not to have that feature in 2019

They’re not going to do anything until 2025. Every 10 years with the Tacoma.

Meh. So are we just expecting a few minor visual changes to headlights, then the seats? Or will there be something exciting going on?

Exactly... its not like they don't have the tech... I don't understand why they are trying to keep the Tacoma a stone aged golem. At least come out with a tech package like acura for people that might actually want that extra stuff on top on a sport or off road trim

So it looks like power seats and light changes are definite...

Other thing appears to be roof changes maybe to fit taller passengers, and possibly minor grill updates.

Wonder if toyota has any other changes...guessing maybe updated infotainment system.

Nothing is definite to me unless it’s in the production model on a lot as far as I’m concerned. Looks like power seats are planned.
