When you say JBL, are you saying that you have JBL already and want better, or you have non-JBL and want a JBL speakers.

    Ok, No need to yell.

The tacoma has a option for a JBL system, many people are unhappy with the factory JBL system. But if you have the non-JBL system, then you can not add the factory JBL system as the wire harnesses are different. You can though add JBL aftermarket speakers and a aftermarket amplifier.

Currently JBL does not offer a drop in kit for the tacoma (or any other car) but you can order a set of 6x9 component speakers (front), and a set of 6.5 inch coaxial speakers (rear)
To add a subwoofer, JBL only offers the stage 810 8 inch subwoofer, and the club 10 slim subwoofer. Both of these will fit behind the rear seats, but you will need to build a box for them. If you are looking for something premade from JBL then the basspro SL is a amped 8 inch slim subwoofer that fits behind the rear seat.

You will need to provide power and signal to the subwoofer, this can be done with a line converter (converts speaker signal to RCA cables) or you can just get signal from the rear speakers and run the wires to the amplifier, for power you need to run a power cable from the battery to the subwoofers amp.

If you wish to amplify the interior speakers, then you will need to make a t harness. This can be done with a metra harness and some speed wire (search this forum for metra harness). You will need to split the purple, green, gray and white wires following the speed wires back to where you plan to put the amp. Radio outputs signal to the hi level inputs, then outputs back into the other line on the speed wire back to the speakers. (again, search speed wire to find better explanations)

I have the OEM JBL and while it is sufficiently decent, If I was going aftermarket I would almost 100% go a different direction.
