    I work in the tax office. People coming in the day before taxes are due to get their legal residence exemption done. Dude, it takes two weeks to process the applications on a good day, you and the other 75 people that came in last minute are going to have to wait. You have had, what, 4 months to do this?

    I do property taxes. Income taxes are separate. Our property taxes are due Jan 15th and everyone wants to come in last minute to pay them.

    You have till April 15th for your income taxes.
