    Is anyone familiar with an after-market solution for reading light(s), preferably LED, for the back seat? My 11 year old likes to read when we travel and the dome light isn't really a good solution when driving.

    @mesojdm

    Have any plans for a rear o-shit handle light that would serve this purpose?

    No, but I'd really like something stable and that wouldn't require using the handle. Have looked for something that might clip/clamp to the head rest post but haven't seen anything. Battery operated lighting, to eliminate running wires, is preferred.

    I was tagging him because he is the site lighting fab guy. Who knows. Maybe he can incorporate a light into the mount and still allow the handle to be moved. Gotcha on the battery thing.

    Install Mesos rack and buy a light that clips to it. Easiest solution and excuse for you to buy the rack lol.

    Overhead rack with magnetic lights(or wired) would be the best and cleanest solution. Or a dome with focused “spot” style pattern light

    I appreciate your dedication to modding, and Meso's stuff is super awesome for sure, I'm just wondering if kiddo wouldn't be better off with a book light or a headlamp? I mean my kids (5 and 7) are little flashlight fanatics and love having their own gadgets. Bonus would be they could use them in any car or outside on adventures.

    Don't let me ruin the fun though.. what about a BajaDesign Dome light mounted in the back just for them?

    I appreciate all the suggestions. I decided to order one of these flex LED reading lights (see pic) that just rest around your neck for now. I figured for $15 bucks it may work but, if not, I have an additional rechargeable LED light. However, I am going to explore the Mesocustoms stuff. Watched this video and made me really want the overhead rack...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bghEi9QJwnU&index=3&list=LLiKOuECEt4ylJRfxgAmAn-Q&t=0s
