No, unfortunately that is a factor of the fluid itself.
I have found that after about 3 miles of driving, it warms up enough to get the fluid flowing normally again. Just be carful and take it easy for the first few miles in the morning. Was -8 F here this morning when I pulled out of the driveway. By the time I made it to the main road, it wasn't 100% but it was manageable in traffic. Then a couple more miles down the road and all was good.

Yeah, with the temps around here i usually let the truck warm up for a few minutes before driving, I'm used it nowadays but the first winter it was quite a surprise... I'll try new fluid next year.
Last Friday it took me 20 minutes to chip ice off my windows and free up the wipers...

He said when he gets back he may make another batch if there is enough demand, so send him a note saying you're interested.

I'm assuming this is full reversible in the same amount of time if ever required?

I cannot say for sure, but bleeding the accumulator might be a minor challenge due to the small passages and the possible air trap under that disk. But, yes. It should take a short time.

As long as you don't do the Dremel method. If you go that route, you would have to find a donor accumulator to do a reversal.

If I can get 25 orders by tomorrow, I’ll order the stuff, if not, it’ll have to wait until the end of March.

Too late. Not 1 single person PM'd me between Friday and Sunday so I didn't order parts.

End of March I will have these available again.

Even though it is said the 2.7l shifts are a bit wonky, folks say there is no accumulator.

Not that I don't trust folks, but it'd be great to get a pic of the area for posterity.

It might also lead to an OEM part for V6 folks down the road?

random question but it works for the south, have you tried a piece of cardboard over the shield when you get home? or a blanket? it prevents the ice from forming on the windshield and you literally just pick up the cardboard or blanket shake it off and drive away... never been through a Chicago winter before

For the windshield? If it's cold enough or just a little snow, it would work. But if there's sleet or freezing rain or it warms up a little and lets the snow/ice melt, then the cardboard would soak up the water and then freeze solid overnight. The ice was at least 1/8" thick b/c the snow melted on my warm windshield and then it froze, then got covered with more snow which partially melted in the sun and froze again overnight. I've had worse though. In high school in st. louis we had an ice storm and there was a full 1/4" of solid clear ice on my driver side b/c of the direction of the wind. I had to chip open the passenger side and crawl in that way to get to school for two days before I got the driver door open.
