They didn't appear to be. Bent the spanner wrench trying to move them before using heat. Once they started moving they became easier to turn. Eventually didn't even need a cheater pipe.

Just look at the build thread
Getting ready to do a ton of work to it. Spark plugs and wires, timing belt, water pump, valve cover gaskets, new passenger fender, new headlights. New corner lights, fresh paint on the front bumper, PVC washer fluid reservoir, degrease the entire engine bay, oil and filter change, all new drive belts, new radiator hoses, and whatever else I find along the way.

    I have mods
With the Pioneer HUs like that one, you can change the background colors as well as the button colors. Probably the brightness too on the newer ones. I've got an older one in my Ram and love it but might upgrade to a newer app radio version.

Wow ,a lot of wear on those splines . You do know that those splines dont take grease ? They use a special lubricant designed strictly for driveshaft splines .

Did you mark it before you pulled it apart. That's the only important thing

Just a few...it's easy to over grease the slip yoke if you aren't careful, it doesn't purge out anywhere to let you know it's full like the ujoints do. I just give it a few pumps every couple oil changes.

If it's too full you'll know pretty quick after your next drive....grease splatter all over the rear end lol

And the hydraulic pressure if you go too far can actually lift the rear and destroy your tcase output bearings and pinion bearing

Someone else mentioned this, but if you have a lifted truck, that slip joint zerk probably isn't doing anything except leaving a pile of grease in the bottom of the driveshaft. Never makes it to the splines.

Is there any rotational play in the slip joint?

I would just slap some grease on it and put it back together. If you are concerned, I would just buy a used driveshaft.

Unless you have a reason to think your current one is out of balance or want it retubed/rebuilt anyways, I wouldn't bother.

Installed 2000 bucket seats and set the console in the truck. But now I need the “end cap” for the front of the rear console :(
It’s going to be impossible to find though :(

Brush some anti-seize or wheel bearing grease on it and run it. I do this whenever I remove the shaft for joints, otherwise leave it alone. It has worked very well,

Yes I know the part. Have had it apart plenty of times. You a few posts back just use u joint a few times to describe the slip yoke I think and made it sound like your u joint was bad too. Never mind

A guys long time no talk... So I drove to work this morning. -29°F, Windchill -55°F. Officially the coldest start I've ever done, sounded like an old diesel starting up but started on the first crank. Took a really long time to warm up. Had to put it in 4x4 to brake the front brakes/tires free. Good times!!!
