When you say “the scoop is open”, does that mean it’s a functional scoop?

It's open to the outside, so yes -- it could be made into a functional scoop if you're so inclined.

Are these paint-ready, or do they still need to be completely sanded and prepped?

What's the flat rate shipping cost?

Also, do they guarantee proper fitment and compatibility with OEM hood hardware?

It's certainly an interesting option, but we'll need a lot more info.

These need to be sanded and painted. Just like any other hood. These come buffed out once they are popped off of the mold.

The do mount to the original hinges, but do not come with the capability to use the latch. Hood pins are required for installation.

@mextitan is correct on both questions and I've updated the original post to include these details.
    - hoods need to be primed & prepped prior to paint
    - stock hood hinges work, latch does not; hood pins required

Shipping or Pickup options in the original post.

Is there a certain set of hood pins they recommend?

    See the original post.

Honestly, this Group Buy is probably not going to happen. Not enough interest.

I was interested until I read the stock latch won’t work, I don’t want to use hood pins.

Thanks for the interest, @npcrs. However with the way the Roadrunner hoods are configured, I simply don't think there's enough interest in a group buy.
I also have too many other things going on to curate this thread and push the Group Buy across the [distant] goal line.
