    For some reason, my odometer on my 2000 tacoma is about 5 mph faster than I am actually going. Would this be because of tire pressure?

    No, it would be off because of your tire diameter. Did you upgrade your tires/rims at all? What size rim and tires are you running?

    No...It would be because every car comes off the production line with a up to 5% error. Tire pressure isn't going to change it. Tire size will....gearing will. So will speedometer calibrators.
