watch out for tht secondary air intake fan pump grinding of black plastic from the housing and sucking it through your motor. #greatestinventionsfromtoyotaengineerswoohoo.

 

no problem with the unifilter mod. my fan pump is faulty thats all im trying to say. watch out for this part failing regardless if you do the unifilter mod or not.

Hey man, your YouTube video motivated me to do the unifilter mod. Thank you!.... and as went to do it this is what I saw down there. $750 for tht part and toyota wont cover it.

Havent the slightest clue. Opened it up and thts what I saw.... my speculation, defective part or expanding and contracting of the plastic based off temp fluctuations.

 

I'm gonna be posting a picture side by side with the new part tomorrow. The dealership said theres no problem with it. And then proceeded to tell me I voided the warranty on tht part by opening the cover (to remove tht little foam filter)and wont replace the part. I still have my warranty until 08/06/21. Also says I have a 50 dollar deductible and was charged $123 for a diagnostic.
