@CrossfitAndYotas I have these exact tires. Love em more than my previous km2's. I was surprised. To me they we're perceivably quieter than the km2's

How's the mileage been? Huge MPG decrease from stock?

I gradually worked my way up to these. I have an 08 so that plays into it a little bit, but I get about 285 miles before the fuel light comes on. That's with a pretty even mix of highway and stop and go. I recently did a trip to Utah and calculated my mileage is off by 5% (odometer lower than actual). I figure between that and extrapolating for full time highway driving, I get about 305 true miles before the fuel light comes on or ~16mpg. I think when I had the truck brand new, I was getting ~20mpg.

Just had mine slapped on this evening.

285/75r16 BFG KM3s: no rubbing and they're clearing the cab mounts. Currently have my 1.75" Baja lift on it, but going 3" tomorrow. I was surprised there was no rubbing and honestly, I think I could have left my front mud flaps on the truck. Tires look great though but I'll have more input on these tires as I drive more.

Not that this helps you OP but I hope they release a 295 for 16” wheels like they do for the ko2. It would definitely be my next tire.

If you haven't mounted them yet or even if you have I would be curious to see how much a tire or tire/wheel weighs

I'd like to know myself. One of the issues I have with having 16 inch rims is the lack variety in load range for tires. 285s only seem to be available in E lr. If I stepped into a 17 inch rim, then I would have some C and D lr options. Problem is that I have the TRD beadlock rims and I like them. So, I suppose I'll live with my choice.

Back to your comment. I'll weigh one today.

i am curious to the noise level.... i was debating these and ended up going with Cooper STT Pros and they are obnoxiously loud....

@CrossfitAndYotas, where at in SoCal? My brother lives in Poway and is into CrossFit, he is also the pilot for the owner.

If you think the stt pros are too loud than mud tires aren't for you, as they are one of the quieter options. They're way quieter than my KM2s were, and the pros are 315s to the KM2s 255. The pros are about on par with KBro2s in my experience as far as road noise.

To be honest, these tires (KM3s) are not very noisy. At least, initially they are not loud. I had read they weren't, but now I can attest to the fact.

Thats refreshing news, i have a 3' lift going in at the same time as the tires, i bought wheel spacers just in case but hoping I wont have to put them on. I bought a set of Dick Sepek wheels, and not sure how the offset would affect rubbing. I'll post up pictures when its done.

Love my KM3s. About 1mpg lost from KO2s. Not too loud and perform really well. I had 285s ATs and went up to 305s MTs and I had to trim a lot more fender plastic. So worth it!

I'm really in love with the look of the tires... I have been in hard mental debate over my next set of tires. Either the KM3's or the General Red Letters... decided to leave my current 255 85 16 size and experiment either 285 75 16 or 315 75 16, probably gonna be debating this right up till I buy them :( (definitely gonna have to get a high clearance front if I go 315 though)

Dang, I would like a set but have the KM2s with lots of miles on them.

Has anyone had a chance to take them off road through various terrain and have pics and a solid review of them?

Love my 305/70R16's, they are heavy (68lbs each), but a huge improvement over the Falken wildpeaks I had before! Not too much noise on the highway yet, but I'm sure they will get louder as they get older.

This. I wish Cooper offered the STT PRO's in 295/75 as well.

@N minus 1 if I remember we correctly the 285/85/16 is in the 65lb range. The info is listed on the BFG KM3 page.
