@Casper66 I went back and looked again and the price actually isn't bad, its about the same as CBI. its because I had the LineX option selected that made it seem like more then it really is.

Line-x is an expensive option but it is super tough. It takes a hell of a lot to even get it chipped. The guy who does Eddy's does an awesome job. They actually take the time and prep it correctly and do a really good job spraying it.

That will deffinately make a difference.
Erik I got mine when I had the other truck with the 4cyl in it and weight was a concern. I was very fortunate and found a guy in South Carolina that was wanting to get married and was selling all his armor Eddy had made him. It was the buper I had been drooling over but as you said $$$. I ended up getting it for half price and he met me half way for transporting it. This began my appreciation for SOS armor and @EddyRRT wonderful customer service has kept it going. His products were fantastic in the beginning and have only gotten better as he has refined his design and manufacturing process. I'm just glad I ordered my rear when I did as my life circumstances are changing and ig I would have waited it may not have happened. Arguments can be made for any product you are a fan of, however, customer service can never be disputed. That being said no manufacturer can ever make evrybody happy. The guys around here are gaga over Mobtown. Theyare fairly local to me and may have had all my buisness but due to their attitude toward me and lack of customer service i went elsewhere. It all worked out for me for the best in the end.

I have heard great things about Eddy and his products, I love the look of his front bumper, its unique and different from any other and I will probably go that route when the time comes.. which will be a little ways down the road hahaha I have full mobtown skids and haven't had any issues dealing with them, its nice to be able to talk to him on here as well. I will be getting a mobtown HC rear soon since I may or may not have mangled my rear bumper :anonymous:. I did look at a few others, including SOS but Brute force doesn't ship to Canada, relentless well, I didn't like their email haha they weren't willing to do any modifications like accommodating a body lift lol Joe is willing to give me exactly what I wanted and I like the angles and appearance of the Mobtown

I know a few guys who did their fronts in LineX and I liked it haha I would get it done up here tho, cuz I would rather pay the CND $$ to have it done. I was thinking of getting my HC LineX'd but my buddy does powder coating so I will let him do the bumper

See and in this case Mobtown has worked for you and you are happy that is all that matters. He flat refused to even discuss makeing any alterations for me and wasn't willing to work with me in any way

oh wow! im actually surprised! im sorry you had a bad experience with them but I can totally understand why you feel the way you do! that's pretty much how I feel about relentless but they are a bigger company and its not like im talking to the owner or the fab guy, im just talking to some sales team lol most smaller fab shops are usually happy to do a custom job. BUT now you found SOS and love their products! so at least something good came of it!

Ummmm if you have the rear view camera then you should let eddy know because he has shown some relocations on his swing outs.

There is a 2015 TRD Pro down in Clt at a dealer. One of the SC boys was going to get it but haggling just didn't cut it where he needed to be. Lets just say with the mileage, shape, etc. this truck was a good deal at their asking price. There aren't very many 2nd gen Pros around. It is a beautiful truck.

Ok @ovrlndkull Skip or any of the rest of you. Who has good sources for obscure Toyota parts? Before I go to the dealer and ask I am looking for lug nuts. I have split 5 1st gen Tundra wheels. They are the shouldered lug nuts I believe with washers. I can pull one off the truck and take a pic if need be. I am putting matching wheels on the camper and I still have quite a way for them to go to be ready but theyre getting there. So I need at least 12 but would like to find 14 so I have extras

There is enough in those kits to do your whole truck plus they aren't the chrome capped factory style so no chance of them swelling and being a PITA to get off. You will have plenty for extras, mounting a spare, spares for the trips, etc.
