285/70 17 tires on 2.25 lift?

Hi, I'm putting a 2.25" lift on the front of my 2018 trd sport(1.5 in the back). Can I fit a 285/70 17(32.7" diameter) toyo tire, or will it rub? The guy at 4 wheel parts recommends 275/70 17(32.2" diameter) tire as the biggest I can fit. Any thoughts or info would help. Thanx.

 

Please tell me you are not having that shit hole put on your lift? And I'm not sure on the tires but good luck.

 

You’ll rub regardless of lift height. Chop your cmc and some plastic if you want to run 285’s. It’s not a lift problem, the tire itself just doesnt fit in the wheel well.
