So this is my first ever post (since I mainly just browse around for opinions or look for “How To” threads).... don’t no why I never thought to look for an STL group to ask local questions.

Anyway, I’ve got a 12 DCSB taco and am gonna be throwing some 34s or 35s on this spring and was gonna try to regear too, most likely with some 4.88 gears.

This may have already been answered, but I’m just too lazy to look through all 300 something pages in this thread... Has anyone in the STL area had their truck regeared by a shop around here or know of a good place that’ll regear?

 

@Tacomania is currently in the same pursuit at the moment. He may have some insight. Oh and welcome to the group!

A couple of us have used Austin Wolf at wolf-fab.com with success for regearing and lockers.

Just got my first Tacoma on Friday 1/25

Also looking for good trails. That being said, with 4x4, the stock ground clearance, and rowboat gearing... A trail can be had just about anywhere

Description:

The long post can be postioned in two ways, vertical and horizontal. As shown below. I used it to hold my 9.5 foot paddle board being mount vertical (meaning the short side of the long post) if you are hauling something longer like a canoe, wood, whatever it maybe you can place it horizontally and you will gain four feet of length.
