I hope so. Since I discovered the lack of one, and immediately purchased one, I’ve changed them out probably 2-3 times between oil changes.

Aren't they good for a year or so? Then again...you take your truck off the pavement, whereas I do not!

We had wasps get into the A/C line of my wife's Prius once, so I make a point to annually hit that sucker with bleach. No issues since. Ever since I saw the thread on a mouse nest on an A/C filter I'm constantly checking mine.

My truck is not a rodent RV.

Truck hasn’t been off road in over 3 years I wanna say. It more so had to do with where I worked and what I was parked under just filling the filters up beyond just pulling it out and tapping or shakeing the dust out. Between leaves, pine needles, dust and fire / smoke pollution from certain classes it was nasty. New job has better parking options where I’m not under trees or near live fire

Duh, smoke. Yeah, I can see where the smell would never leave a filter.

It’s nasty. I’ve even resorted to putting essential oils on the filters till I could grab a new one

    FINALLY!!!

Got outta an instructor workshop early today, so took full advantage of the weather and tackled what I thought was gonna be a two hour project in about 15 mins. (Only because the battery was dead in the drill).

One less “part” floating around the truck, one more pouch to organize things, aka the pouch of endless hair ties!! Muahahah!!

More toolboxes for cooking gear, hammock gear and stuff sacs. Now that this is done I’ve got a decent idea of what I still need to add.

I'd say 90% ready, there are still a few things, a better cooking set, some mugs, I'm sure there are a few other things, nothing I can't grab when we do the cigar meet up. I only have 1 pot, a small propane set up, which I have to actually put into the tool box when I find where it ventured off to.

I want at least the option to boil water for tea, a skillet, a decent knife that isn't my hunting knife, a camping mug (the old blue ones comes to mind) I have a decent cooler to use for food. I'm out of practice honestly so I think it is going to be a major learning experience my first actual time out. I won't count the night at AAOA after my surgery that was somewhat of a fluke.

You made it through the evening in good form :)

Once it gets a little warmer we should go hit Bald Eagle, and continue that discussion about skinwalkers.

I would greatly enjoy a night like this, with significantly less rain

Got the oil change done today (Thanks to @TOYTONKA for the use of his drain pan and garage and ride to pepboys)

Also showed Dennis what I wanted to do with my shovel that's been floating around the bed of the truck, I had picked up a set of monkey fists, and some newer ones made by a different manufacture that are pretty solid. They will be used for one more hand tool, and possibly two extingishers once I pick them up.

Next thing to fix is the blower motor and resistor, those parts should be in tomorrow. I can't wait to have some heat again.

4 out of 5 replacement wheels have arrived at my house.. waiting to hear if they are gonna ignore the blatenly ignore the whole "for pick up" or if they are actually now gonna make me drive down for one single wheel.

Initial agreement was no charge for shipping because I was driving to pick up them up Monday.

Aaaaaand they fixed it. 5th wheel is in FedEx possession, pretty excited. Seems like it may be here tomorrow or Friday!

Now to get the tires switched over, mounted, balanced and a new hopefully proper alignment done. And the entire suspension wheel crap will be fixed.
