Hi I bought a raptor style grill from ebay and after doing some research im having a hard time figuring what ground connector end I need. I read a couple threads suggesting the use of a "add a fuse kit" and then fusing it into the fuse box. That is what im planning on doing for the red wire portion but for the black wire; what kind of ground connector do i need? Can someone link me the correct one?

Here is the link to the grill:
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/233097131217

As you can see, the wiring doesnt come with a end connector for the black and red wires.

Just tap the side parking lamp on your drivers side headlight....purple wire is positive and white wire is ground coming from the truck harness. See photo for clarity

Find a crimp terminal connector like in the kit listed above. Then just crimp with a cheap crimper from harbor freight, heat shrink it with cheap heat shrink and a cheap heat gun from harbor freight. Then just ground it to the body using a bolt that's already attached somewhere on the frame or body. It's a low amperage lighting circuit so grounding to body should be fine. That wire looks like 22ga wire as is already.

As for power/hot wire, you can tap into the drl, or headlights, or somewhere in the fuse box. All depends on when you want the lights to turn on. Do you want them on with DRL, or headlights, or when its on accessories, or only when powered on, or only when the high beams are on. Then just tap into whatever circuit will provide power. I don't like using butt or those tap connectors that essentially slice into a wire so I chose to run mine on only when the low beams are on. So I made a harness to draw power from the low beam power circuit.

It's all up to your imagination and what you want.

If I tap into the parking lights, will my raptor lights be on all the time?

Can I buy any ground O-ring and just attach it the black wire to the body frame?

    What is AWG?

    https://www.amazon.com/Baomain-Insu...QAP1SW99FC0&psc=1&refRID=62BXFXRC5QAP1SW99FC0

this one listed talks about having 18-22 AWG...and this one below talks about a 4 GAUGE? What is a GAUGE? Sorry but im complete noob to all of this electrical stuff.

    https://www.amazon.com/SCOSCHE-X2RT...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=FPT2EZYD2WKS2T96JKSN

Just trying to figure out what type of O-groung ring connector will work for this project.

No they will be on when the parking lights are on since this is where your getting power from.

I have them into the side markers, I think thats what their called. I told the guy to put them on the "cuartitos" aka the yellow one on the side. He did that and they're on when I turn my fog lights and night time lights.
