They are nice tires don’t get me wrong, just not the tire I need. The tread wasn’t aggressive enough and I was slipping at times on the street surprisingly, but part of the blame was because of the size I had.

Get em... General Grabbers were my tire of choice when I had a 14" rim. They worked great and I got almost 50,000 miles out of them. I picked up a set of BFG KO2's on black friday for my 2018 Taco for $680 mounted and balanced from 4wheepparts. They had a deal and threw in a pair of weather tech mats for free. You can find them for under 200 a tire if you look a little.

I still haven't figured this out, I've heard a lot of people say they perform well in snow, they look to me like they should perform well, yet I am driving them in Idaho this winter and every time it snows I swear I'm done and they're they worst snow performing tire I've driven in years. I don't get it, I feel like they should be better, I've grown up driving in really wintery conditions, and they're just not impressing me at all, or even falling into the mediocre category. :burnrubber:

Well see, there's your reason. You want them and they would increase the enjoyment you get out of the truck, AND THEY'LL LOOK BETTER. I think I got mine closer to $200-220 (but maybe you're factoring add-on costs), and you can find sales. Nittos look really good, too.

You don't need us to give you permission to buy new tires. But you have it anyway.
