These are just some basic string knit gloves that they sell at the asian market across the street lmao. Easily the best idea ever I got off YouTube! Of all the tips given about bbq this takes the cake!

Being able to touch hot food off the grill and smoker is freaking awesome. I use this to shred my pull pork!

My rule is if you cant shred your pulled pork with ease with just your hands then you did it wrong.

SPG were on point!! BBQ rub ones needed 15 more min. I should’ve known, they were furthest from the fire the whole time! :annoyed:

Stuffed. And want a piece of pecan pie with ice cream what the hell is wrong with me?! Cheese little smokies in the baked beans then smoked was a good experiment. Ribs were some of the best ever. Which is good, have a lot of leftovers. Worth it.

It’s a pretty one, well made and well balanced. I prefer 52100 straight carbon steel though.

Haha plastic spoons could cut through this, sliced it Texas style ... if it was tough meat I’d definitely cut against like you say

Check your connections to your element, on a 30” you access it through a panel on the back of the unit. I’ve replaced the “appliance connectors” a half a dozen times on my MES 30, may very well be your problem.

I rebuilt it once a few years ago. Tired of tinkering with it. Last time is stopped heating i re-soldered the connections. Now it turns completely off and won’t turn on for 30 minutes or so

Thanks! It was my first time trying burnt ends and to me they turned out ok. My pups are my babies, raised the black one from when she was 6 weeks old and rescued the chocolate one when he was about a year and a half old from horrible malnourished conditions and covered in fleas and ticks.

Hopefully everyone's super bowl food was more exciting than the game itself (great defense but made for a more boring style than a shootout). Ours came out good, nachos are always a hit here so it went over well.
