Lots of good choices, depending on what your priorities are. I'm a fan of debadging the truck while its new, the tacomas look really clean when its done and its free.

Welcome to TW, here is another vote for a bed mat - without it, the bed might as well be made of teflon the way things slide around.

I’m surprised that a bed mat didn’t come with lots of yalls trucks. My package wasn’t anything special and I got a mat and nice enough floor mats that I didn’t need to buy them either.

Go through the sticky threads. And you'll see a thread about "what have you done to your Gen3" . There are dozens of things you'll end up doing based on what you want to do and what you like.

What’s wrong with the knobs? Seemed perfectly fine to me?

The aluminum ones allow you to easily turn the volume and not always hit the screen buttons. It’s good for old fogeys who can’t get used to the steering wheel control buttons. It’s worth the money for me.

My advice, there will be alot of useless cosmetic mods that will add to major $$$. Stick with the things that change performance before looks. Ovtune so you dont want to sell the truck, lift, tires. Stickers and lights can be done later when the big stuff is paid for

This man is wise, though most here do the opposite.

I did tint and stereo, then wheels and suspension. I see you are local to me as well. Just drove by that dealer last night. LET ME KNOW if you need any help with anything. I'm a tech at No Limit on Bel Air rd.

Actually drove all the way up from Northern Virginia to get that truck. Cheapest for the mileage that I could find. But will do!
