Hi Tacos. I am seriously considering buying a new Tacoma OF or Pro. I currently live and teach in Germany but will retire to AZ in June. My previous question was whether I should stay with the 17” wheels that come on the OF or if it’s okay to go with 18”.

Not sure if you meant this...

The OFF ROAD model comes with 16 inch wheels.

The Tacoma PRO model wheels are also 16 inch

The Toyota PRO 4Runner have the 17 inch wheels if this is indeed what you ment

Then yes you can use any of these setups.

I wouldnt buy the OF as they dont make that model.
However they make a OR model in 2wd and 4wd.
Welcome to TW! Either choice wont steer you wrong in AZ.

If retiring to AZ and are considering the PRO, look into the snorkel option if you plan on doing much off-roading

If you want to mod it, get an Off Road, if not get a Pro
