    Front is required for dune running in Michigan, rear is for wheeling locally at the Cliffs insane terrain. Never took them off after things got cold.

    Tubes are only on for the GF, she's too short to get in easily. Especially with the new tires. They come off whenever I go out to do stupid shit.

    Hello all!
    I'm thinking about replacing my tires for tax season with some 255's (liked the KM2's or coopers) and I took a search through this thread and couldn't find anything about the resistance to damage on the sidewalls in here. Where I live in AZ is a lot of high desert with sharp rocks and the 265/70's I have now (K02 load range e) are pretty chewed up. Will 255/85s hold up about the same/better? I will make the leap to 285 if I have to but I really don't have the spare money for both a lift AND tires this time round. Thanks for all your help guys!

    I think it depends more on the tire model vs the size ....

    Cooper St maxx, BFG KM2/KM3, Toyo MT/M55 are all 3 ply sidewall, heavy duty tough tires.

    I know there's a ton of variables, bias not being insignificant, but I'm really torn on tires. I hear that the coopers pull on the highway, flat spot overnight, wear fast. Then I hear they are the best you can buy.

    I don't know if I should wait on the KM3 in 255, get the Maxx, or Pro. I want an aggressive tire, probably the bro in me, but I really only do mild trails and lots of sand.
