Just wondering what the best high pro cold air intake would be for my truck?

^ Consensus here would be the OEM intake is the "best" cold air intake. So I did answer the question.

My consensus is, just about anything is “better” than Stock. (IMO)

You can listen to people who don’t have a clue, or you can do the research yourself. There are plenty of threads that show there’s practically 0 advantage to changing the routing of your intake piping. Just for argument sake, say you get an extra mpg out of the deal... it would take +/-150 fill-ups to break even with a $300 intake system. Bottom line, your money is better spent on other mods.

I think the people that install the high cold air intake don’t care about mpg so much as they want that look. I personally think it detracts from the look and it’s totally and completely useless unless you are consistently running through anything more than knee deep water.

I want a new intake just for the sound.
I do like the look of the TRD intake though.

Surprised no one has made a faux TRD intake decal to put on the stock one.

Damn, did I just pass up a vendor opportunity?!

To have money and have either the same or better results get a drop in dry air filter (or oil based=KnN) and buy the G-Tek Fab stock air box mod kit. This is the best bang for the buck imo
