Did the Jeep thing for 10 years. Most exciting part was not knowing when it would break down...:D. A few good stories though, and definitely good people.

Bought a 4Runner a few years ago as our family car. It’s been FANTASTIC at filling roles in our life. Everyday family stuff, weekend exploring and off-roading, pulling our 4300lb camper and doing chores around the acreage.

Finally, after wanting one for 15 years, I bought a Taco! Here she is!

Ok, so I just have floor mats right now, but the truck is on order! Should be here in about another month. TRDORDCSB 6MT in quicksand.

In the meantime, I’ve managed to spend all my money on skid plates and sliders from RCIMetalWorks, a RedARC brake controller, CompuStar Drone remote starter, ViAir compressor and a Truxedo tonneau cover.

I’m looking forward to the same exceptional experience we’ve had with our 4Runner, but with a little less oil and blood in the carpet. There’s just no substitute for a truckbed sometimes.

Welcome to TW....greetings from The Great White North

You've been trapped already :D....if you try just a little, you can spend as much on mods and accessories as you did on your truck, BEFORE the truck arrives

    Like I did :)

We've had a Highlander for a decade, and i thought it was easy to (happily) spend money on it...but there ain't nuthin like a Taco to assist you in supporting the global economy

    Have a good one

I went to college up in Ames, grew up in rural Kelley, IA and hunt deer around Saylorville lake every fall so I’ve been in and around the Des Moines area for quite a while. The Jeep spent more time up there than anywhere else, but usually more of a “mud” color.

Another Iowa Noob here. I live in Cedar Falls. I hunt (Pheasants, Deer, and Morels), and fish all over the central part of the state with my brother-in-law from up by Alden. We fish Saylorville a couple of times a year, although we fish Clear Lake more than any other place. I'm not sure why though, we typically don't catch that much up there (LOL). Anyway, welcome to the family.

Ha! We stop into Huxley just about every time we’re through the area to visit some friends of ours there that run the floral shop.
