New member located in Southern, AZ..

Just purchased my fourth Tacoma, 2019 TRD Off Road. Been hooked on Toyota trucks since the 90s when I bought a stock 85, built it up and had some good times and lots of good trips in it.

Eventually rolled it and transferred most the parts to an 87 after doing an SAS conversion. Drove that until I purchased my first taco, a 98 TRD..

    Loyal Tacoma owner ever since.

Yes Tucson area. I really like the 19. Just need a tonneau cover for it. And lift and tires eventually. I have some pictures of the 85 and 87 somewhere in my garage. I’ll post them if I ever pull them out. So you’re pretty familiar with every gen Tacoma is what you’re saying haha

Yep, love em. I just picked up an MX4 Bakflip for mine after seeing my Dad's on his 18 Raptor. I had the factory tonneau on my 17 and wasnt a fan.

That’s the one I’m going with if I can’t find a used OEM one for cheaper. Does is leak at all? I had a Leer 100XQ on my 17 that I couldn’t keep from leaking on the sides. Drove me crazy. Not that we get. A lot of rain down here but I take it up north to hunt a lot

So Dad is in IL and he hasnt had any issues with leaking. Loves it. I like the way it sits better than the OEM, though I feel the OEM probably is better from a resale standpoint.

I’m going to keep a lookout on CL for a few months if I can’t find one I’ll decide if I’m going aftermarket. I’ll go with that one if I do

We’re you able to find a TRD Pro grille for the 19? I called the dealer they wanted my VIN said I can’t buy it. Guessing it because of the TSS sensor but I can’t believe they won’t sell it to me. Read a little about it on here but I’m more confused about the whole situation now
