    I thought you said you were there around the time I was. TC went OS in 2003. I was a TT that was forced into IT then. Kirchner and Rossin were there around 2005 when I got to Seattle

    Didn't really have anything to say here except I was I was impressed to see an actual thread dedicated to the CG. I was in 3/3/75-3/2/79. Spent two years CGSTA Port Isabel (now South Padre Island), and two years on the Pt. Estero (82 footer) in Gulfport, MS. Got out as an SS2 (now CS rate, cook). That's all. Glad to be here in TW.

    Marine Communications Officer. It would be a big career change for me, but in another life I worked on the water and loved every minute of it.

    Thanks! It's something completely different. Marine Communications and Navigation Officer. Operating RADAR and Maritime Radio. It's a land-based position but I'm told there will be opportunities to go to sea. Canadian Coast Guard is non-military, it's science vessels, navigation, search and rescue, and icebreaking mostly.
